Rambling Part. 1 Dealing with feeling AWKWARD.

Have you ever felt weird? If you have this message is for you! The Lord woke me up early one Saturday with thoughts on how to help others deal with certain issues we all face. One of those issues were feeling awkward. The society we live in places a lot of attention on those that are "cool" and those that are not. Many people struggle with fitting in, not knowing what to say etc. Well I've come to encourage you with this secret, are you ready for it? Here goes:

EVERYONE STRUGGLES WITH "FEELINGS" OF AWKWARDNESS TO SOME EXTENT.

We are all made so uniquely different, and we all communicate differently but that is one of the things that make us all so amazingly beautiful. It's OK, just because you struggle with  not knowing what to say doesn't make you "uncool". The fact that you are the only YOU we have, and there is not another duplicate, MAKES YOU COOL!  If you are in, trying, or having a conversation and feeling awkward, and you're finding it hard to come up with the "right" words to say....PRAY. Ask the Lord to help you, He cares and He will help you in every conversation. Don't panic, He is just a thought away.

You want to know something about me? I tend to ramble, I usually have to talk out what I'm learning and once it's out....then I go back and unscramble my thoughts and words, sort them out, and try to cut them down to the main points I want to talk about. It's sort of like when you write a paper...you first get your thoughts onto the page, once that's accomplished, you can then go back and proof read, edit and fine tune the paper until it says exactly what you want it to say. Well that's what I have to do with the information and words of wisdom the Lord gives me. It sounds like a bunch of rambling but really my brain is sorting and putting the information into the right format and in complete sentences (people don't understand my fragments...still working on that invention:) so that others will understand what I'm saying. Some people don't have to do this but I do. This may seem strange or awkward to some but I don't let that stop me.. the Lord is able to speak and minister even through my ramblings!:) This video you're about to see is an example of just that!  I purposefully did no editing or fine tuning to just to show you that God will help you, even when you don't know what to say,  and even if you ramble like me. WHERE MY RAMBLERS AT! lol

Be open to God, keep Him first in your life....He will unscramble the words of your heart and soul. Don't be afraid, if He does it for me, He most certainly can do it for you. Enjoy this video, like I said, there are many moments where some would say AWKWARD, but God still shines forth, and the point is still clear. Don't let feelings of awkwardness stop you, the Lord loves you, and He wants to help you always. Please let Him.

You Might Have Already Done It!

Hello all!

     I'm so grateful to be here writing this message to you. It has almost been a year since we have communicated in this way, but I can assure you that there shall not be that much time lapse between us again, as long as God has something to say through me to you. You are of the utmost importance, and it is my desire to encourage, and to help in the building of your inner most faith! Well with that being said let us begin!

     For the last several months, I have really kicked into high gear to "DO" and "ACT" on the desires that God placed inside of me, and one of the desires was creating this very page....but how many of you have ever felt like there is not enough time in a day to do all of the things you want and need to get done? Has anyone else ever felt like that?... The answer is YES...even if it is just you and I:)  Now that we know that many people struggle with the "getting things you want/ need done in a day" issue, what's the next step? How do we get things done? How do we stretch 24hrs. and still have 8hrs. of sleep in order to function for the next day? How do we change this vicious cycle of being stuck and never being able to finish what we start? God brought several things to my attention, and it is my honor to share them with you!  BTW, in case you didn't know, forgot, need to hear it again, or want to hear it again....YOU, YES YOU! The one who is reading this, YOU ARE SO LOVED BY GOD...YOU ARE SO LOVED BY GOD; IT IS UNFATHOMABLE!

These are the things God brought to my attention: 

Just because you have realized a desire that God has given you, and you may have just started acting on it, or you are beginning to, doesn't mean that it is new to Him, in fact, it is not! Often times we get so excited about our "new" desire because it seems to have just manifested into our minds...so we are excited, and we sit and ponder and think of how to get this dream off the ground and make it a reality. Being excited about God's dreams manifesting in you is amazing and you should be excited, but that doesn't mean necessarily that you have to start from scratch! Remember God is the Author and Finisher of our faith,(Hebrew 12:2) and before the foundations of the world, He knew us! (Ephesians 1:4) Surprise!!!!! God has been prepping, preparing you, molding, and shaping you for His desires and His glory since YOUR BEGINNING! ACTUALLY BEFORE YOU BEGAN! How awesome is that! 

I would often ask God to give me words, and ideas in order to encourage the people He would bring to this page...and I have a whole journal set aside for it. I noticed however, that I wasn't getting any topics or themes...or so I thought. As I was eating dinner tonight and of course at the same time, writing a status on Facebook....I laughed to myself because so many times I plan to write a snippet of something, like only two sentences, but it usually turns into an essay, a thesis, a dissertation about the greatness of our God and what He has taught me and what He has done. I thought to myself, why is that? I don't ever plan it, but it happens....kept on eating (food was now cold because my status again became a thesis) .... and then it was so clear. I didn't need to pray for topics and themes; the Lord had already given them...and I HAD ALREADY DONE IT! The Lord had already been moving on my heart, teaching me to love all unconditionally even if it's not reciprocated, giving me immense compassion for the lost and the broken, changing me, molding and strengthening my character.... and I was just writing what I was learning on FB because where else do you write your life's novels? (Are you still not laughing?...not even a smile...smirk...nothing????? Alright, alright, I'll keep working on it, Lord please bring a smile and laughter to their face...may something at least tickle them in Jesus name, amen:)

Although creating this blog/vlog is a fairly new idea, I have been writing and encouraging people for years. I just didn't know then what I was doing, and certainly had no idea that I would be writing these words to encourage you right now, but I am certainly grateful. So don't worry so much of how you will get the "dream" off the ground...I am sure that you, just like me have already done some of the leg work. God would not have given you the dream if He didn't think you could do it. He believes in you, and He is your greatest fan, that's why He gave the dream and vision to you! No one else will be able to do it like you, because you are the only you on the earth! You have no competition, you're it; literally. You are all we have, and I sincerely pray that you not give up on the desire, but instead, stay the course, stay focused and see it through! Sure some time might have passed, but it's not too late....you know how I know? You're not dead yet! :) You're somewhere smiling really big and maybe even laughing (you're not laughing...ok I'll keep working on it) reading this blog!!!! (Thanks by the way, I appreciate you) 

Beloved you are alive, breathing the air Christ died to give you. With every breath you breathe, you still have an opportunity to dream, create, produce, and DO. Go for it, and don't get in your way! I love you and I can't wait to hear, see, learn, and grow from what God placed inside of you. Let us know what God is up to in your life, the world waits with bated breath, because we need what you have...He would not have put it inside of you if we didn't. You are so valuable, so rare, and I am glad you're here.I love you so very much! Be encouraged!

Don't Forget to Work

 Okay so here is my first vlog! This was an idea the Lord gave me last year....and thanks be to God, now it is a reality. The Lord has great plans for you, and I'm just stopping by to remind you of that again. I don't know about you but God encourages me constantly about my dreams, because in life you get knocked around and sometimes the truth can be uprooted and confusion tries to settle in and make a home....But God is bigger and greater than any scheme that will try to throw you off course! Stay the course, draw close to God and He will draw close to you...His word does not return to Him void, but it accomplishes all that He sets it out to do! So don't give up, don't loose hope...You and your God given dreams and passions are beautiful! Be blessed and have an awesome day! I love you all:)
